What the free rank plan is

A rank plan is our best reading of a public website and of third-party data about it, produced automatically. It is guidance, not a guarantee: directories change their rules, reject submissions, and domain ratings move slowly and unevenly. Check a directory's own terms before you submit.

Fair use

Request rank plans for sites you own or are authorised to promote. We limit how many reports a site or email can request in a week, and we may refuse or remove reports that abuse the service or third-party data.

Email

When you give us an email address we send your rank plan to it. We may also send occasional RankPlan updates: new directories, changes to a directory's rules, and improvements to the report. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your report. We do not sell or share your address.

Directory data

Directory facts (link type, cost, approval time) come from each directory's own pages and sampled listings and are re-checked on a schedule. They can be out of date. Domain Rating by Ahrefs is used under its licence and belongs to Ahrefs.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, nineteen78 Pty. Ltd. is not liable for decisions made on the basis of a rank plan. Australian Consumer Law guarantees that cannot be excluded still apply.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use means you accept the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
